The Pumper | 25mm Compact Bar

In every group class there's a moment when the instructor calls a weight change and half the room is still wrestling a clip. The Pumper takes that moment away. It's a light bar for high-rep strength work: squats, lunges, presses and rows, lifting moderate weight many times rather than heavy weight once. At 5 kg and 142 cm it fits a home gym or a studio corner, and the slim 25 mm grip is easier on hands and forearms over long sets. It loads up to 100 kg of 25 mm plates.

For about a century the barbell didn't change, and neither did its weak point: the collar. It's the part that holds the plates in place, and in practice it pinches fingers, slips mid-set and goes missing. In 2018, a small team in Oslo built the collar into the bar. SlideLock is a titanium slider and a magnet. You load the plate, flick the slider and lift, and there's nothing to lose. Every piece in the range is built around it. The name comes from Odin's spear, the one that never missed.
